This colorful documentary is about Ellis Island where housed the Statue of Liberty to process immigrants from Europe. However, it offers hope and American dream of making a new life in the promised new land of opportunity. However, it is on the condition of 1891 restriction: Chinese, convicts, idiots, the insane polygamists and persons with contagious diseases. The inspectors had the power and authority to grant or reject the newcomers based on the reactions. This book did not included the famous poem on the base of the majestic Statue of Liberty for her open arm of welcome with the light at the Golden Door. It is the beacon on the hill for a nation of immigrants. However, under the new administration of policy on Homeland Security and ICE, the Liberty Goddess turns off the light, shut the door, close her eyes and mouth, an opposition and suppression of American foundation and value. Such policy will KEEP AMERICA GREAT- only WHITES?
