What if you snuck into your professor's office and found a mysterious device that transported you 100 years to the past? Specifically in 1918, at the height of World War I.
This is the case for Elliott Jackson, an anxiety-ridden college student from Jackson, Mississippi, who's only one bad grade away from being kicked out of school. After failing his WW1 test, he takes matters into his own hands, leading to a decision of desperation that would lead to a jolting and chaotic experience, after he is forced to enlist in the war itself after a traumatic encounter with a volatile colonel. His worst nightmare come true. Not only has time gone backwards, but so has progress. Tensions are high. Fear will no longer be tolerated. Survival is the only option now. With no knowledge of how this happened and with no way to get back home, he's simply another soldier trying to live, with only a diary to cling to. But when others become suspicious of Elliott, suddenly, this war would not be the only thing to fear...
