Ellen had a mass on her right hip bone. It was bone cancer. Her father David and sister Jana had come to confert her. She went to the hospital and got a new doctor, Dr. Alton. She wrote letters to friends and family there. Her sisters boyfriend, Dennis, had got a new store and Ellen went to visit it. She had lost her freedom of movement. She had to finish the school year in crutches. She had surgry done. It gave her no pain. She died on October, 1972.
