Eliot is a yellow Labrador who loves being a dog. He loves playing, running, jumping, chasing things, and sleeping. Most of all, he loves to eat His favorite food is steak. When his owner Naomi starts to talk to him about making mistakes, Eliot thinks she is talking about a new kind of steak and hilarity ensues. Despite the misunderstanding, Naomi tries to teach Eliot that anyone can make a mistake and that mistakes are part of growing up. This book teaches readers that they don't need to be afraid to tell someone they made a mistake, and that every mistake has a valuable lesson behind it.
