Elfie: Elfie the boy who was raised by a machine

When I began writing the story of Alfie Rose and Melenna, I wanted to explore a world that felt "selfish" a world where technology and humanity were at war. But through the eyes of a synthetic nanny bot and a boy raised in the mud of the Louisiana Bayou, I discovered that the "Ghost in the Machine" isn't a glitch. It is the evolution of empathy.
ELFIE is more than a sci-fi adventure. It is a reminder that our history doesn't have to be our destiny. Earl Rose Jones represented the worst of our past bitterness, violence, and fear of a changing world. Melenna represents a possible future where the things we build can teach us how to be better versions of ourselves.
