Each lesson includes activating prior knowledge (oral language), high-frequency word review, phonemic awareness instruction with the targeted skill, word-level fluency practice, connected text practice, comprehension questions, phoneme-grapheme mapping of the targeted skill, and a dictation sentence. Students graph their progress, which increases motivation, and provides immediate feedback on their success.

This program can also be used for interventions for kindergarten and up. The lessons are complete and ready to go, making them perfect for the classroom, tutoring, or homeschooling. Every aspect of the lesson is aligned with the science of reading and incorporates multiple strategies recommended for students with reading difficulties, including dyslexia.
