Electricity fraud in Côte d'Ivoire

Modern societies are characterized by technological inventions that rely heavily on electrical energy to function. Its cheap acquisition is a strategic issue for both the development and sustainability of activities around the world. In fact, electricity is obtained from two distinct sources: one is from limited deposits of fossil fuels. It is called stock energy. The production of electricity from this source is accompanied by emissions that are harmful to humans and the environment, with a cost that is strongly influenced by the price of the dollar and oil on the world market. The other one, called flow energy, results from sources that are naturally renewed and generate very few harmful emissions during the production of electricity. For these reasons they are called renewable or clean energies. Despite the immense wealth of renewable energies in African countries, the price of electricity for consumption remains under the influence of the price of hydrocarbons and the dollar.
