a classroom requirement definitely worth reading

i took a contemporary spanish literature class my last year of college and this book was one of the books we had to read.. the professor saved it for last assuming it would be the most enjoyable to read, and it definitely was! it's a great story, full of suspense and a really memorable main character.. i think all of us in the class ended up reading ahead, and even re-reading the book for fun afterwards.. im not sure if its been translated, but if you can read and understand spanish i definitely recommend this book!
