The main local paper sends Fina, a recent journalism graduate, to cover the story. But Arturo Le n, a powerful and unprincipled businessman, has ordered the road to Salgueiro closed to prevent news about the gruesome discovery, which could affect his real estate ventures. Fina's investigation reveals new information about a series of brutal murders committed in the area in the 1960s, linking three solitary individuals in a quest to expose abuse of power and an unknown killer.
