El Aura Solitaria / The Lonely BuzzardThe need to care for the world's flora and fauna has been growing exponentially, and, as each day goes by, we fail to see the dangers that directly affect humans. We seem to not be aware of the thousands of animals, birds, and plants in danger of extinction. As human beings, we are not doing enough for our benefit. Animals, birds, and plants are suffering to the point that there are now thousands of extinct species with many more currently in danger. We consider our relationship with nature as insignificant and continue to ignore everyday signs and warnings. This story, The Lonely Buzzard, originally written in Spanish in the early 1900's narrates the delicate line between life and death and how nature can help us survive if we pay attention to its offerings, but also to its needs.
