EINDEKKER: THE FOKKER SCOURGE, 1915 is a solitaire, tactical World War I air combat strategy wargame. It simulates the early war period when the German Eindekker monoplane dominated the skies above France. Here, you take the role of Max Immelmann or Oswald Boelke, piloting a single Eindekker on various combat missions (combat patrol, trench support, observation) over a period of one week. You'll face anti-aircraft firel, enemy planes (both fighter and bomber/reconnaissance aircraft) and dogfignts, mechanical problems, repairs, crash landings, and all sorts of happenstance events that you must deal with. Part of the strategy will be decisions you make about "fighting or fleeing" in particular circumstances that arise, how far to push your luck, deciding if it's best to fly with some damage or take a day off for repairs. Each game day consists of ten turns, where you cary out your various duties, earning victroy points for completing your assigned mission, downing enemy aircraft, and arriving back home safely. Earn enough victory points during the week (and avoid being shot down) will bring you victory. EINDEKKER: THE FOKKER SCOURGE, 1915 is Minden Classics, Vol. 11.
