Eight Words of the Risen Christ

After the first Easter morning, the risen Christ has spoken many words that are relevant to His disciples, then and now. Indeed, the Gospels such as Matthew, Luke, and John have recorded the words that the risen Christ has spoken to His disciples. Throughout the Christian history, numerous sermons and teachings on those words ensued ever since. I too have chosen the following eight words of the risen Christ to share with you.

Do not be afraid (Matthew 28:10)

Was It Not Necessary? (Luke 24:26)

Peace be to You (John 20:19).

Receive the Holy Spirit (John 20:22).

Do not continue in disbelief (John 20:27).

Come and Have Breakfast (John 21:12).

Do You Love Me? (John 21:17)

Go (Matthew 28:19).

I hope and pray that these words of our risen Christ fill your heart and mind with faith, hope, love, knowledge, courage, purpose, and renewed mission of the Church.
