"I might get suspended from school today," she told her brother on that Friday morning, the one where she would go missing. "I'm gonna punch Fat Carrie right in her fat face on the bus."

Elliot Miller hasn't been handling her forties very well, and now her marriage is hanging by a string, her children treat her like a chore, and everyone is sick of walking on egg shells around her.
