Excellent Introduction to the MInd-set of the Ancient Greek People

I used this book in homeschooling my tenth grader in Greek culture and ideas. The book presents eight ideas that supposedly embody the values and ideas of the ancient Greeks. Each pillar is examined in depth in a chapter and the author uses myths, battles, and Greek politics to illustrate the pillar in action in Greek society. The book was easily accessible to my tenth grader but still had plenty of depth to stimulate higher level critical thinking.
