INTRODUCTION In the life cycle of human development, great importance is given to 'marriage'- in one form or another, which is a corner stone in most societies. Marriage is recognized universally as the oldest social institution, where the most important initial years of one's life are shared with parents and siblings. Usually, during the process of development, children learn a range of desired behavior through the observation and imitation of their parents. Marital and parental roles for both genders are shaped in any culture from early childhood in given family set-ups. Naturally, marriage is considered one of the essential achievements of life, which helps an individual to be in the mainstream in order to gain social recognition and support.
