This book has been intended to address the weed problem in maize there by developing an effective and ecologically sound integrated weed management option. The work covers effect of inter-row spacing and weed management practices and their interaction on weed control efficiency and maize yield. Likewise, figure out the possible effect of weed on maize yield losses. Furthermore, in this thesis, it could be concluded that integrated weed management practices enhance maize grain yield there by reducing weed infestation. On the other hand, combination of narrower row spacing and lower rates of herbicide was found to be the effective weed management practice.
