Achieving well-being in a diverse society is a function of learning to live together in mutual peace through a life of justice. Deconstructing education, that is, opening up the possibilities of education with a view to promoting a just society, is at the heart of Jacques Derrida's tour de force. Thus, rightly understood, deconstruction is truly evocative of and educative in the pursuit of social justice.
