Edit

Edit is a fast paced, psychological science fiction novel about technology, love, and the relationship between our conscience and reality.

Jason Valentino is a man in distress.

His wife, Judy, had suffered a horrific accident at a gas station a few nights prior, leaving her with half of her face scorched by fire.

He tries to look past it, putting his best foot forward to be supportive as Judy struggles with both the physical and emotional aftermath of the night, trying to keep their marriage afloat. Despite this effort, he is unable to look past the damage that was done to her face.

Their marriage begins to crumble, but just as it comes to the brink of collapse, he discovers a potential solution; an operation to his sensory perception to edit his reality, or in this case, to edit his perception of Judy's face.

It goes well at first, but a series of questionable events lead him to believe that there was more altered to his reality than he had expected.

The challenge is if he could tell what they all are.

As Jay navigates parallel realities, mysterious people and buildings who appear and disappear, all the while struggling to bring back the normalcy that was once his life before the accident, he is challenged to question what is and isn't real.
