You will read about Edwin Hubble's adventure at the Mount Wilson Observatory where he discovered the Hubble constant. and the red shift of galaxies. And you will read about Milton Humason who dropped out of high school to live in the San Gabriel mountains north of Pasadena, California. There he was a mule driver hauling the Hooker telescope to the Mount Wilson observatory and later a valuable assistant to Dr. Hubble at Mount Wilson. I present the equation 2GHM = c 3 that governs the expansion of the universe.
