Economic Process and Covid-19 Epoch

Fast internet broadband speed has increasingly facilitated mobility, economic process and entrepreneurship, making industries to become competitive through enhanced innovation and invention; delivering high quality goods to the global market. It has made the spread and movement of objects and things faster than before in the global village. No wonder, the spread of covid-19 pandemic that started in Wuhan, China in December 2019 quickly made a deadly impact on the world economy; distorting factory operations in almost every country and affecting negatively the health of human capital. Covid-19 has been described as a pandemic that has successfully eaten deep into the world economy. It has been alleged that the impact would be felt globally in the next two or more years and Human Resources Management (HRM) is expected to be at the fore front of industrial harmony and to further curtail its deadly impact on global economy. It is therefore necessary to investigate the role of HRM in the midst of this dynamic environment by examining its preparedness through entrepreeneurial search into its past, the present and projecting into the post covid-19 epoch.
