The monograph presents a systematic scientific and theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of ecological culture in the context of modern socio-cultural and educational transformations. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign studies, as well as the results of the author's empirical developments, the role of environmental knowledge and values in the professional and personal formation of students of technical higher educational institutions is revealed. The categorical and conceptual differentiation of the key terms of environmental discourse, such as ecology, ecologization, ecological thinking, ecological consciousness, environmental education, environmental education, ecological culture, was carried out, which made it possible to clarify their substantive characteristics and determine the place of each of them in the system of modern scientific knowledge.
