Excellent book on the environment for young people.

This book is about nine interesting women whose concerns about the planet we all share have led them into fascinating careers and avocations which affect the earth and the people who live on it. It is an excellent book for young people who are interested in interested in nature, the environment and animals. This well-written book would have been improved by color plates.
