Echoes of The Firstborn

By Devin Davis

In a world forged by magnetic power and ancient metals, the kingdoms of Ferros cling to fragile alliances as ambition and betrayal threaten to ignite war. Beneath the shadow of the Firstborn-creators long vanished but never forgotten-rumors of their lost power stir dangerous dreams.

Lyra, a humble gardener in the secluded village of Ashglen, has spent her life avoiding notice. But when her connection to the land awakens a power tied to the Firstborn's legacy, she becomes the focus of forces far greater than herself. Drawn into a treacherous web of politics and magic, Lyra must confront her fears and uncover the truth about her gift before it becomes a weapon of devastation.

With allies as flawed as they are determined-a scholar chasing forbidden knowledge and a nomad seeking answers in the wind-Lyra embarks on a journey where every step could tip the scales of Ferros's fate.

Echoes of the Firstborn is a mythic grimdark tale of power, sacrifice, and the enduring weight of legacy. Fans of atmospheric world-building, morally complex characters, and epic stakes will find themselves enthralled by the first installment of the Chronicles of the Ferrian Realms.
