It comprise of a brief story of Haiti's enslaved patriarchs and matriarchs' resilience, revolution, and triump from the oppression of colonialism and becoming the First Free Black Republic in the world. It has been 220 years since this inspiration of freedom and equality gaining Haiti their independence under the leadership of Dessalines.
