Informative method of studying intimate mechanisms of heart functioning in norm and pathology is ultrasound investigation that helps to establish many age regularities of disturbances not only during systole but also diastole in various diseases of cardiovascular system, to reveal initial signs of cardiac insufficiency development, objectively estimate role of many compensatory mechanisms, influence of various functional tests that has invaluable value in practical medicine. To study age-specific features of echocardiometric parameters of the heart in norm and in some congenital heart diseases. To determine age-specific dynamics of echocardiometric parameters of the heart in norm and pathology. obtained age-specific changes of echocardiometric parameters of the heart in the studied pathologies contribute to more precise diagnostics and selection of appropriate methods of conservative and surgical treatment. The knowledge of tricuspidal and pulmonary valve sizes facilitates the selection of appropriate prostheses for their correction.
