How a believer understands the basic idea, and design, of Spirit, Soul, & Body provides the groundwork/foundation for the course their life follows. Without a working knowledge of this subject, the believer exposes themselves to deceptive attacks against their mind. Such attacks will leave them inactive, unproductive, and unable to fulfill the destiny planned by God for them. This teaching/understanding/philosophy/truth is what explains why and how they are the way they are. Having a working understanding of the parts that make up man defines the limits of reason, ability, and accomplishment. If man, created in the IMAGE of God, comes into the God-class of being, man will have to change his thinking to align with the Word of God. If God intended for man to rule this earth as He rules the Heavens above, man needs 1-)a working knowledge of himself; 2-)a working knowledge of the realm in which he must operate; 3-)and a working knowledge of the strategies that will give him complete triumph over every foe, every challenge, and everything that opposes him/her. Such information of Kingdom Life will produce freedom from everything/being/force that opposes any believer. For answers that will not come easily, man must decide his course of action to find his destiny.
