When I moved into my new apartment after living on campus, I thought I'd be in for quiet, peaceful nights to myself. Little did I know how wrong I was.

I used to be in the Marines and now I'm at war once again-I hate my next-door neighbors. Okay, maybe hate is a strong word, but they're obnoxious, loud and always throwing parties.

It's possible the letters of complaint I keep leaving on their door aren't helping to de-escalate the situation, but in my defense, I can't stand the noise anymore. The last thing I expected was for one of the neighbors to write back. Even more unexpected, I'm starting to develop feelings for her.
