Easy Stitching with Buttons, Beads and Braids

This is a very simple book with ideas for transforming your home and wardrobe with simple items such as buttons, beads and braids. As always with Inspirations Books, the instructions and graphics are second to none and the supporting diagrams and photographs help to clear any queries you may have with the instructions. There is a wide variety of projects in this little book, my favourite is the Happy Feet, a selection of four fabulous and colourful felt booties. There's some great ideas for using ric-rac (a genre of haberdashery that is making a come-back) and a gorgeous little girls tulle ballet skirt with all the trimmings.I particularly like the ideas for embellishing a simple purchased white shirt - very chic. The patterns are contained in the back of the book, and will require some enlarging. All together a very well priced publication for the embelishing crafter.
