Interesting Variety

My two favorite patterns in this book have to be the the clock, Crochet Time and the stationery, Say it With Flowers. The clock numbers are 12 teeny squares , each with a different stitch. The stationery has 4 different floral designs, one of which is actually crocheted on the card. There also are a few patterns for men, like a cossack hat and a striped sweater. There's a cute game tote for kids, afghans, doilies, sweaters, bags, and home decor. Many of the patterns use the newer fancy yarns. There's a modern look to the patterns. I haven't made any of the patterns yet, but there is one called Wrist Poof, a cell-phone bag, that is made with 9 oz. of worsted and a ball of Fun Fur. That may be a little heavy for small wrists.
