Most Instructions Were Not Age Appropriate

This is not a good choice for a drawing book for children. The examples on the outside covers of the books DO show good step by step instructions for a young child. BUT those are the only age-appropriate algorithms for drawing. So many of them were beyond what even I (as an adult, but not an artist) would feel that I could successfully produce. I bought this book for a friend's 6yo son. I will NOT give this to him because I do not want to set him up for frustration with bad instructions. There are better books for this age group. Spend your money on them.
