Easter Bloody Sunday: The True Terrifying Meaning of Easter

In this story Debbie Hester flees church to go for a drive when her controlling homophobic parents go too far, leaving her an emotional wreck. She soon gets into a real wreck when a strange creature appears in the road ahead of her. Waking up in the hospital she begins a slow transformation in which she realizes she is turning into the Easter Bunny. With magical powers and near immortality at her finger/paw tips, she quickly leaves home for a hedonistic party girl life of wine, women, and song (literally). Though admittedly pooping jellybeans and laying eggs when aroused is a bit of a n embarrassing affliction.
Only there are others out there who desire the Easter Bunny's powers and they will do anything, especially killing the current holder to get them.
Meanwhile unknown to Debbie the Easter Bunny is a major mythological figure with connections running to demons, dark gods, goblins, and witches. The traditions of Easter are vast and ancient and Easter Egg Hunts are secretly rituals meant to protect people from cosmic horrors and the Wild Hunt itself. As she spends months hopping from one party to the next, the clock until next Easter is running out and if she does not do her job, thousands will die.
