East Side Stories is a collection of 18 completely new stories, plus 'The Othona Valediction' which has so far only been published as an E-story, and therefore has not been accessible to anyone who only reads 'real' books. All the stories are set in locations down the east side of England, from Hadrian's Wall to the Thames. Locations include the Pennines, the North York Moors, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and the Dengie Hundreds in Essex. These are areas well known to me, as I have lived in Teesside, North Yorkshire, the Pennines, Norfolk and Essex during my life in England, before moving to southern Spain in 1994. The stories are of crime and mystery, some have a touch of humour and all have a twist in the tail.
