Ease My Mind is a book of poetry that follows the many complications of life. The poems in the book deal with love, loss, anger, accepting yourself, and many more emotions. I wrote this book as a way to cope with my own life. I had gone through so much recently, I felt that I needed to write all my pains down. This book really helped me stay afloat. There is a lot for the readers of this novel to digest. I hope that every single one of them can connect to on a spiritual level. There are also poems that gladly represent the LGBT community. As a member of this community, I also wanted this book to be a way to have our voices heard. I hope that every one can enjoy them and connect to the poems. That is the goal that I have for this book.
