Recreating their lives

"Earthquake", is a book written by Lucy Jave Bledsoe, this book is really good, but I specially recommend it to children from 10 and up. It called my attention for the pictures that it has, because although there are just a few, these images created an interest on me. Miles, a 17 years old boy that has to get out of school to work and support his family, his mom, three brothers and his little sister Helen. He gets a job on a boat and has to work with three people, Nick, Jill, and the boss Chip. They all are about to leave to the sea when an enormous wave hit old blue, and all the city, many things change after this tragedy, that's why u have to read the book, to find out what consequences brought this Earthquake. In my opinion this book was suspense for all the things that happens before and after the earthquake, it also contains happy and funny scenes, that's why I think that it is a pretty good book to read.
