Every Orthodox Christian should read this book!!

This is an astonishing little book about one of the most obscure but illustrious elders of the 20th century. Elder Zachariah was without a doubt a great and much-suffering hero of the Soviet era (error). I have read and reread this book for over 10 years now, and in truth, next to the Bible, consider it to be my most precious possession. For those who have ears to hear, he is very much present with us,and he has great boldness before God. The story of his life is moving and unforgettable. Sometimes wonderful things come in small, inexpensive packages.
