The designs contained in this collection were created between February 27th, 1992 and February 2nd, 1993 on a Macintosh Plus computer, with a 512 x 342 pixel monochrome display, using MacDraw 1.1, a vector based drawing program. At the time, the artist, Daniel A. Doutre envisioned these designs to be used in coloring books for adults as a way to encourage relaxation, focus, hand & eye coordination and creativity. Those were the things he personally experienced as he created and colored his way through this unique collection of straight and curved lines.
