This book goes beyond the surface of good teaching. It emphasizes decision making as the core of good teaching, as well as assists the teacher in making good and thoughtful decisions. The book is well organized and rich on everyday examples and analysis, and it makes good connections between theory and practical applications. I'm a new teacher, and after browsing through this book I couldn't wait to buy it.
