I believe every Christian reading this will be able to relate and agree that we had very limited understanding of what we had decided to become when we first said our prayer of repentance and accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. It was much like Neo in the movie, The Matrix. There sits Neo and Morpheus in an abandoned hotel lobby and Morpheus offers Neo the choice of two pills (one red and the other blue) to decide whether he wants to know what the Matrix is or forget that he had ever heard anything about it. Much like us, Neo, of course, accepted the red pill not really knowing the full extent of his choice, and his life was forever changed. We were offered a choice to continue living the life we knew, or to receive a gift that would alter our life forever. Causing us to enter a new way of thinking, talking, acting-living, into an unknown lifestyle, different than we ever knew it would be. As the days, weeks, months, and years passed, after reading the Bible, going to church, and hanging around other believers, things began to change. We found ourselves not doing the same old things we used to do, not going to the same places, listening to the same old music, and even found ourselves hanging around new groups of people. We were becoming different, slowly, but surely, we were being changed.
Watching porn was a huge turn on for me. It gave me a high like nothing else, and no matter what upset me or stressed me out, porn was the answer to feeling better.
