Everything started with a star. It graced our sky and gave us anything that we could have ever needed in life. We never went hungry, we never fell ill, and we definitely never died. We thought that it was our prayers and our rigid laws that kept us safely under the star's protection. I was the first person to notice that the star was going through a great change, but what I didn't know was what would happen to us next. I couldn't foresee the struggles that we were going to face. I didn't know that I would soon be the only person left in town who was searching for the light.I'm beginning to wonder what would happen if the star decides to no longer shine.
