Pandit Hakeem Trilok Nath Azam was an intellectual, a distinguished Unani medical practitioner and a much-revered author for his times. He was the royal doctor for some south Asian Raj Gharanas (royal families) and was also an accomplished author. He owned a family press establishment that published his and other authors' books. He also was the first author in the world who translated the Holy Hindu book of Bhaghawad Gita into the Urdu language.
