Will, Rob and Gaz are typical teenagers - fun, sporty at times, often lazy, cannot get a girlfriend.

While on Work Experience at a local store, Will acquires three mannequins and decides to take them home to add some fun into his life: a previous tragedy has left the family in need of some light relief. His friends are thrilled when they set eyes on 'Keith, Flora and Nigel.' Maybe the dummies can 'help' them attract a girlfriend.

The local bullies however are not impressed by the new arrivals, and they become intent on making the boys lives even more tragic than they already are. Add to this a Citizenship Project for school involving a local homeless man and things soon become manic and madcap.

Set in the North East, this is a riotous ride of a read, funny, fast-paced and moving which will make readers laugh, wince and cry as the action unfolds into tragedy. But for whom?
