Not useful

This book reads like a series of essays by a middle school student on various topics: Cultural heritage, Culinary Scene (but no recommendations of restaurants or anything practical for a traveler), beaches, the desert experience - but nothing specific that can help you plan your trip. I was happy to get something from an independent author, but this won't help me at all. I can't return it because it cost less than $15, but I have already ordered the Lonely Planet guide, which I am sure is a reliable one! Not sure who would have any use for this, maybe if your tween kids are interested in reading about Dubai before traveling? There are no pictures except the one in the cover, but that's the least of the issues. Also, there are no detailed maps, transportation tips, accommodation information, and helpful phrases in Arabic at all. No Michelin-starred restaurants mentioned in the book. I am thinking the description is for a different book?
