One of the greatest assets of humanity, its creativity and diversity of ideas, cannot be held responsible as the source of all conflict, misunderstandings and miseries. It is certainly urgent to look up elsewhere for the origins of this situation. But conflict means duality, therefore, the two main objectives of this book are, first of all, helping the reader understand well the existence of duality in his daily life, and second, help him see beyond duality uniting the opposites inside himself and giving birth to his Divine Child. On the other hand, duality came to the world as soon as the Ego was born, consequently, for the Divine Child to be born the Ego must necessarily "die". So, Duality, the Divine Child and the Ego are the three main actors pertaining to this book's title and to put things really simple, which they are, basically we will be talking about the significance of numbers 1, 2 and 3, given that number 1 represents the Universal One, number 2 is all about duality and the Ego, and finally, number 3 stands for the Divine Child, the potential overcome of duality.
With the relatively recent contributions of some key thinkers from different areas, it is now possible to present the public real glimpses of the universal truth in an accessible and reasoned way. Through this reading, the reader will also be able to revisit his childhood and revaluate his whole life and personal relationships, from the closest ones, such as parents, children and family, to spouse and friends, seeing them under a new perspective. Drawing from a simplified post-Jungian approach, including some of Erich Neumann's ideas, together with the ideas developed by the author, the contributions of the most profound, original and multidisciplinary thinkers, such as Plato, Plotinus, Hegel, Jakob B?hme, Joseph Campbell and Walter Russel, just to name a few, are presented in an integrated manner, bringing together the psychological, mythological, philosophical, mystical and scientific realms, in an attempt to provide a meaningful insight on the evolution of human consciousness, from its origins to the present day.
