...must be disappointing to show up for a party after it's over...worse yet not to have been invited... This was and is Poul Jorgensen's last work. The photography is excellent and the flies were selected as representative, a snap shot of the patterns flyfishers are tying and using today. The book includes many tyers of note....do these names ring a bell: Poul Jorgensen, Roman Moser, Warren D. Snyder, Christopher Helm, Ed Shenk, Steve Gossage, Vladimir Markov, Al Betty, Dick Talleur, Chuck Bushnell...to name just a few...one would have to be historically, culturally and Internet-myopic to have not recognized them. Or not a fly-tier themselves. No passionate fly-tier or collector would not have this book.
