Drums along the Fox: Second Edition

By Roland Rick Church

Thomas Cobb, author of Academy Award winning film Crazy Heart, reviewed White Doe and said, "Rick Church has written a wise and witty thriller, full of breathless encounters and dark, dry humor. It's a fine read." Arizona based native American ex-cop and private investigator Noel two Horses, agrees to accept a stolen vehicle public defender case at the urging of his partner Clair Blue Crow. However, the defendant is also charged with the murder of the corpse found in the car's trunk. When the driver's older brother agrees to finance the defense of his kid brother the case rapidly transitions into a spinning maze of multiple drug cartel related homicides. The two investigators hide their client from the cartel while trying to establish his innocence to the court. The task may be insurmountable when it is discovered that he and his older brother shared a long drug cartel history. Drums along the Fox is the fourth book in the Noel Two Horses series. Other books in the Noel Two Horse series include White Doe, War Party, Counting Coup, Bear Child, Dark Bull and Dog Soldier.
