Druidry: Rekindling the Sacred Fires
Druidry: Rekindling the Sacred Fires introduces Druidry as a spiritual path, especially as it is taught and practiced in the British Druid Order (BDO), one of the largest and most influential Druid Orders in the world with, despite its name, an international membership. The book covers a host of topics, from the nature of Awen, the holy spirit of Druidry, to the interface between Anglo-Saxon shamanism and Druidry known as Wyrd Druidry via the roots of modern Druidry, the meaning and use of altars, the festivals of the Wheel of the Year, robe-making, the Druid community, Druid camps, the Ogham alphabet and much, much more. It ends with a very useful guide to further reading and other Druid and Pagan groups. Over 100 well-chosen illustrations help bring the tradition vividly to life.
