Drone Peril

A young woman is killed by a drone that drops from the sky, seemingly out of nowhere, and sprays her with a mysterious liquid. Detective Diane Cramer is assigned to lead the murder investigation after her superior, George Hernandez, suddenly collapses after examining the body. The only evidence is a corpse with no identifiable cause of death.

Drones, autonomous machines, initially designed for warfare, now hunt victims at night, seeking victims through their cold lenses, and capturing their last moments in a target reticle.
