Recruiting is all about people, and people can be strange. There's nothing like the pressure of a job interview to bring out the most awkward, illogical, and mystifying behavior in all of us.
While we often celebrate the victories-like a glowing referral, nailing a dream job, or the perfect candidate immediately accepting the offer-we rarely take time to slow down and appreciate the slew of hard-to-believe and unusual interactions that driver recruiting has to offer.
