Driven has been described as a genre-bending dark comedy psychological thriller. The screenplay tells the story of a struggling young screenwriter who attempts to save a reclusive actress after she undergoes failed cosmetic eyelid surgery as - unknown to the screenwriter - she becomes obsessed with stalking and taking revenge against the womanizing doctor who ruined her.

Screenplays often bump around Hollywood for years, before they are optioned or purchased, and even then may not be produced - or can take years to go into production.
