Dreams do not die at dawn

Plot and characters A coming-of-age novel in eighteen chapters that tells the adventurous and even initiatory journey of a very curious teenager, Ludovico. Like Lewis Carroll's Alice, he sets out to discover a fantastic world where, as the book's title suggests, dreams find a home after spending time in the sleep of mankind. At the head of this discovery, which turns out to be wonderful but also full of pitfalls and a constant source of excitement, is a wise owl called Biante, accompanied by the owls Lele and Priscilla, who communicates directly with Ludovico because he speaks the same language as we do. Beautiful dreams are kept in a huge cave, while nightmares are kept in a barren mountain, guarded by two monstrous twin Cyclopes. Ludovico will witness the epic battle between good and evil staged by the guardians of the two types of dreams, and he will get to know the dreams of many other young people like him, each one a treasure chest of truth. At the end of the journey, he will return to his family and home more mature and aware, thanks to the experiences he has had.
